As we move closer to the November elections we must be extremely leery of how each side will present “their” set of facts. Incumbents are in extremely precarious positions and they don’t seem to be aware of it on either side of the political aisle. Conservatives and Republicans appear to have the more motivated electorate which could bode well for changing the leadership in the House if not the Senate.

I caution all of us to be very selective in who we support. This midterm election could be one of the most important elections my generation has participated in. Why is this election important?

It is important because we are going to decide whether we agree with the current policies and continue down the path of larger more centralized government, or we are going to change direction and limit the growth of government. The status quo has got to change. We must remove the old guard who believe staying in power is their job. We must remove all those politicians who believe they know better how to spend our money than we do. We must remove all the politicians who believe government is the answer to all problems. Most importantly we must get back to governing FOR THE PEOPLE. If our elected officials continue to refuse to hear us, we must remove them from office, regardless of party.

Do not get misdirected by the politicians themselves. They are masters at this game, we must be prepared for an all out assault on reality as they get desperate in their attempt to stay in power. Think about it, when you are a member of congress you are part of a group that controls trillions of dollars. That kind of money brings great power. Politicians love power. Therefore they wish to control us by grabbing more and more of our dollars so they can disseminate and collect more power.
