Pocket Hole Screws

May 3rd, 2012, 11:09 am

Quickscrews line of Pocket Hole Screws are gaining in popularity. Our line of Pocket Hole Screws has been growing steadily back to the levels we were at before the crash. The fact is that after customers try our Pocket Hole screws, they really don’t ever have problems again. They also love our expanded line. The Kreg Tool requires a Round Washer Head Version which we carry in both Coarse and Fine Thread, as well as Zinc or Dry Lube. The Modified Pan Head works well with machines that use a router bit to drill the pocket and in those applications we have the widest range of screws.

Go into our store and try the Pocket Hole Screw that would work best for your current application and find out for yourself why this line is one of our most popular lines in the Quickscrews Woodworking screw family.

March is a good Month

February 25th, 2012, 8:47 am

First of all you have March madness which arguably is the craziest month in sports. You have got to love the college tournament format. It is easily one of the most exciting tournaments around. Upsets and big victories by overwhelming favorites; the tournament delivers every game because it is one of the teams last game each and every time. No greater example of character than being in a win or go home game.  Spring training will begin and for baseball traditionalists this too is a great month. Hope is always in the air each year as all teams start out 0-0 and anyone can win the next World Series. Or at least they can hope to win. The NBA will wind down its shortened season and begin the playoffs in early April. Otherwise known as the second season.

In business we sometimes face similar challenges. How do we navigate the seemingly endless daily challenges of the recession while at the same time look toward the future and try and carve a successful path. Simply not an easy task. We continue to push our newest products as these items can easily have a huge impact on our future growth. Both the Funnel Screws and the QuickBOLT are in stock and ready for sale. These new products in each of there respective applications provide superior results to anything currently on the market. There is nothing close to either of them in terms of ease of use and competitive pricing. We hope you give both of these new products a chance, we will not disappoint.

We Need Your Input.

February 25th, 2012, 8:31 am

I was surfing my own website looking for errors and realized it had been some time since I last wrote in my blog. So whats new and exciting at Quickscrews? Funnel Head screws! It has been 10 years since we last introduced a product this exciting. We feel very strongly that the industry as a whole not only will embrace this product, but they will lead the way in determining exactly how many different applications the screw will work in. We need all the users to give us feedback so we can continue to expand the line as needed.

Please consider not only purchasing the item, but supplying detailed feedback so we can continue to widen the availability while constantly improving the functionality.

This is a call to all the end users:  Please help us determine whether or not this unique product should be made for different applications. I would like to hear from you what your thoughts are. Would this thread design be good for pocket hole applications? Could it work well in cabinet to cabinet attachment? How about drawer front applications? Does the 3″ work good for cabinet installations? What other assembly type applications could the product be used for? How about different head styles? Do we need to make it in Black? Who says we have to have Phillips drive? What about zinc yellow? Well as you can see the choices are many. I have been making these choices for Quickscrews for 25 years. Today, I ask you to help me make those choices. Tell me why we should carry something, specifically. In my business we need volume for two reasons. One; the factory has minimums, two; screws are very inexpensive which means you have to purchase a lot of them to make the minimums.  So choice becomes critical. I usually choose, now I want your help.

Looking forward to your Feedback,

Respectfully,

Greg Wiener, Owner
